- «Neftekhimik» and «Ak Bars» have intense games. Today's game proved it. The home team had more time to recover, in my opinion that was the key point of the game. Hard-battled game, we got a point. We will prepare for our upcoming games.
It seemed that «Ak Bars» played two different games in the first and in the second periods. Why did it happen?
- Yeah, we did not play the right way in the first period. Then we tried to change it in the second period, we got more possession of the puck and shots.
Vyacheslav Butsayev, the head coach of HC «Neftekhimik»:
- I would like to thank our fans for their support and congratulate our team on a victory! That was an interesting game between two teams from Tatarstan Republic. We had plenty of scoring chances and we did not take advantage of it. Our team executed the game plan in the right way.
