The head coaches of "Neftekhimik" and "Dinamo" Riga summed up the results after the game.
Vyacheslav Butsayev, the head coach of HC "Neftekhimik":
- First of all, I would like to congratulate our players on this victory. It was a good game against interesting team. We knew that "Dinamo" won last games.
We took the lead 0:2, we could double our advantage. It is important to play correctly in tactical terms. We got unnecessary penalties again, but our goaltender did his best to make as much saves as possible.
Girts Ankipans, the head coach of HC "Dinamo" Riga:
- Yes, we knew that "Neftekhimik" is a physically well prepared team. We have to score and play in the different ways. Unfortunately, we failed in the end of the game. We did not score in the power play. Our team will try to improve this aspects of the game.
