Preseason press conference 2023/2024

Today at Neftekhim Arena the General Director of HC Neftekhimik Igor Larionov, the head coach of HC Neftekhimik Oleg Leontyev and the head coach of HC Reaktor Igor Fyodorov took part in a preseason press conference.

Igor Larionov, General Director of HC Neftekhimik:

– Our teams Neftekhimik and Reaktor are preparing for the season in accordance with the Regulations of the KHL and JHL.

The club staff has done the necessary preparatory work to create comfortable conditions for our teams. Everything is going according to plan. In this regard, I would like to thank our shareholders - SIBUR and Nizhnekamskneftekhim PJSC for their help and support.

As you know, following the outcome of the last season, a number of players left the team (Kirill Vorobyov, Vyacheslav Leshchenko, Ansel Galimov, Maxim Berezin and Pavel Poryadin). We signed players who are able to help our team - Nail Yakupov, Alexander Dergachyov, Vladimir Bryukvin, Anthony Camara and Lukas Klok.

The upcoming season is a special one for our club – anniversary. On October 23 our club will be 55 years old.

Unfortunately, we had to increase a little the prices of tickets and season tickets. Our fans showed a great support for our team. Plenty of people were waiting for the opportunity to buy season tickets.

Before the start of the season, Neftekhimik and Mikhail Sergachev will present a new gym for Neftekhimik hockey school. It is a great opportunity for all of the young players to develop their skills.

Oleg Leontyev, head coach of HC Neftekhimik:

– Preparation for the upcoming season is going well. We have played a number of exhibition games. We will play at the tournament in Omsk. After that, our roster for the upcoming season will be ready.

A number of players left our team. We signed players who can help our team become even stronger. We have the highest goals for the season. I would like to invite all Neftekhimik fans to our home games. We will play offensive, aggressive and spectacular hockey.

Igor Fyodorov, head coach of JHC Reaktor:

– We had a two-week training camp at the baza of the first team (Neftekhimik). We played two exhibition games against Tolpar. There are two games left against Molot and Irbis. About roster - young guys joined our team, for example, Urakov, Slepkov, Borodinov, Gizyatov and Stolyarov. They have a great potential. If we talk about transfers – we got Reshetnikov and Muissu. Our doors are always open. All the guys have a chance to prove that they deserve join our team.
