Oleg Leontyev, the head coach of HC Neftekhimik:

– We did not take advantage of our goal-scoring chances. We had a lack of hteir net when we had our power play. We also conceded goals from our slot. That is not good, you need to protect your slot and help the goalie, who is making his first steps in pro hockey. The opponent was stronger.

–  Neftekhimik did not take advantage of its five-minute power play. Did it affect the team in some way?

– There was a 1-on-0 chance for ous after that power play. This could affect the team too. You know, if you are confident, there is no such thing that can affect you. Nothing can stop you, if you are determined to reach your goal

– The team got a quick 2-0 lead. It seemed, that the guys lost their focus on the game ...

– Yeah, I agree. We need to play with confidence and do not let our opponent get any chance to tied the game up.

– Is there anything positive you would like to say about today’s game?

– Our goaltender had a great game. Yaroslav Ozolin played confidently and kept us in the game.
