Press Conference «Amur– Neftekhimik» 9/29/2026
29.09.2026
Neftekhimik Head Coach Igor Grishin speaks with the media after a following 0–1 loss against Amur.
– It was a hard–battled game. We tried to keep the guys in good shape and help them recover, but you cannot always cheat physiology. From about the midway point of the game, things stopped clicking, and technical errors – like sloppy passing – began to creep in. That was all down to fatigue. We fought hard to the very end and tried to stage a comeback, but it just did not happen.– Considering you played three games in four days, how satisfied are you with this road trip?
– You could not say the trip was a failure. We won two out of three games. That is a decent result. Of course, the more you achieve, the more you want – you always aim for more. But things do not always work out that way.
