Neftekhimik Head Coach Oleg Leontyev speaks with the media after a following 1–7 loss against Lada.
– The opposing team was faster than our team, they were everywhere. Lada had three days off, which is why they looked fresher. We are trying to make playoffs, so every game is important for us. However, we must not forget that the guys have limits, they tried to do their best. We can say that today was not our day, everything went wrong. In sports, movement is decisive, in this regard, we lost to the opponent. This is the only reason I see for what happened. We will analyze all the mistakes that were made.The most important thing is recovery and preparation for the next game.– So it is a matter of physical shape, not psychological pressure?
– We have been playing under this kind of pressure for a long time. It seems to me that the guys have already got used to it. So I do not think that it is a matter of pressure. And, I repeat, Lada had three days off. This is a good period to be ready for the game.
