Neftekhimik Head Coach Oleg Leontyev speaks with the media after a following 4–3 shootout win over Dynamo Msk.
– Congratulations to the team and fans on this victory! We did not start as planned, we conceded early goals. But we were sure that we would put up a fight in this game. In principle, that is how it turned out. The players stuck to the tactical plan, demonstrated courageous play, character, and scored good goals. The guys also blocked shots, which is an important piece of the game. We need to fight in every game, of which there are not many left. The fight for the playoffs spot is igoing on. Once again, I would like to mention the fans who came today and supported us. It was nice to see such stands.Dynamo Msk Head Coach Alexei Kudashov:
– We had a not bad start and finish. Unfortunately, we failed in the middle of the game. First of all, we lost in the movement. We also lost in the rough work. The opponent outworked us, thanks to which got a win.
