Oleg Leontyev, the head coach of HC Neftekhimik:

– I would like to congratulate our team and fans on this victory! It's always pleasure to win the first game of the New Year! Despite the fact that we did not score in the first and second period the first two periods the puck did not go into the goal, we won thi game. This is the most important thing! Alexander Sudnitsin did a great job. He kept us in the game as well as the whole team, you know, the guys in blocked a lot of shots. It a pity that we got so much penalties, but the main thing is, like I said before, that we won.

– Alexei Puzanov has not been in the roster for a long time. How does he feel?

– Alexei can practice on the ice, but there is still rehabilitation period. It is hard to say the exact time of him being in the lineup. We hope that he will be ready by the end of the month. It's hard when you miss a lot of games. It takes time.

David Nemirovsky, the head coach of HC Torpedo:

– Of course, it's a shame that we had a one-goal lead and let them get a win today. Perhaps, we just tired. Unfortunately, we did not win today.
