Press conference «Sibir–Neftekhimik»

Oleg Leontyev, the head coach of HC Neftekhimik:

– It was a hard-battled game. Kept in suspense to the end. The guys had really good goal-scoring chances and blocked tons of shots. Anyway, our team did a great job and got 1 points. The team made a great effort – we got 8 out of 10 points. I would like to congratulate the fans and the team on the upcoming New Year!

– Two pucks out of three were scored by Sibir defensemen.

– Any player who is on the ice can score. You need to play in a right way in D-zone. There are not many mistakes if you play in a right way.

– Why Dan Sexton did not play?

– He has an injury. It will take about 3-4 days.

– The club extened contracts with Klok and Knot. Have they changed their way of play?

– It's their style of play. In fact, we are very happy that we have extended contracts with these guys. These are our key players.

- I would like to congratutate all fans on upcoming New Year! As for the game, Neftekhimik offered to play a fast-paced hockey. Unfortunately, we were not ready. In the second, we got penalties and that was not good for us. In the third period, the teams did their best. We conceded the second goal after faceoff. Fortunately, we scored in the overtime.
