Oleg Leontyev, the head coach of HC Neftekhimik:

– That was a close game. Unfortunately, we couldn't take advantage of our numerous odd-man rushes. Our guys played well and fought to the very end.

– Coaching staff decided to dress Yaroslav Ozolin as a starting goalie. Was it like do or die?

– Yeah, kind of. You know, Emil Garipov got an injury and had a surgery. I do not know how much time will take his recovery. We would be glad if he recover before the New Year. Moreover, Andrei Tikhomirov and Alexander Sudnitsin are day-to-day. We decided to dress Yaroslav for the game. It is high time for him to play.

– Do you think Marat Khairullin is ready to play in the NHL in a year?

– That would be great. At the same time, it is not easy to predict. Khairullin is a smart guy. He can make it to the NHL.

Roman Rotenberg, the head coach of HC SKA:

– We played against a strong opponent. You know, they have a young and fast team. After the first period, we talked with the guys in the locker room. We won, we scored good goals, but we have a lot of work to do. Our next game is an important one.
