09.10.2026

Reaktor will play game #9 of the season!
DATE OPPONENT TIME
10/9/2026 vs Snezhnye Barsy ⏰6:30 pm
The guest team faced a very difficult season last year. Snezhnye Barsy finished in ninth place, just one point ahead of the league's worst team – Tyumensky Legion and 17 points adrift of the eighth–place spot. Defense was a major issue; the team conceded more goals (253) than any other in the conference. Their offense also struggled. Snezhnye Barsy scored 118 goals, with only the aforementioned Tyumensky Legion posting a worse record.
Coaching Staff
The team is led this season by a highly capable specialist. Last season, Ilgiz Nuriyev won the Western Conference's Silver Division with Taifun. Born in Surgut, he played for the local Gazovik team and also competed in Kazakhstan, where he won the Asian Games, claimed the national cup twice, and was a multiple-time medalist in the domestic championship. He is assisted on the coaching staff by Damir Ramazanov, Alexander Kolyuzhny, and Alexander Yakushev.
Roster Changes
Aside from the goaltending unit, the team has undergone a significant roster overhaul. Top-scoring defenseman Mstislav Shipilin – who recorded 15 points (4 goals, 11 assists) last season – has left the team. Meanwhile, the defensive corps has been bolstered by a number of young players.
There have been major changes on offense as well, with the arrival of many young players and newcomers from other JHL teams. One example is Ignat Balanchik from Amurskie Tigry, who is expected to bring experience to the young Snezhnye Barsy squad. Armanzhan Kaliyev, arriving from Mamonty Yugry, looks like a significant acquisition; he tallied 21 points in 42 games. The team's top scorer, Timur Mindubaev, has remained with the squad. Last season, he recorded 25 points (13 goals, 12 assists) in 43 games. This season, he has already tallied 6 points (3 goals, 3 assists) in 13 games. Rauan Kaiyrzhan – who has played 7 games – holds an identical record of goals and assists. Overall, the distribution of points among the forwards is quite balanced, making it impossible to identify a clear leader at this stage.
Major changes have not yet yielded the desired results for the team. Snezhnye Barsy have once again dropped to last place in the division, with 8 points and 3 wins – one each in regulation, overtime, and the shootout.
Reaktor currently sits fifth in the JHL East’s Silver Division with 9 points from 8 games; however, a successful outcome in their games against Snezhnye Barsy could see them break into the play-in zone.
