Renard Mustafin: «I prefer to read and have a walk»

Reaktor defenseman Renard Mustafin talks about his team.

– Renard, when did you start playing hockey?

– I was born in Ufa. When I was 5 years old, my parents moved to Surgut. In the first grade, my parents decided to put me on skates.

– How did it happen that you are part of Reaktor team?

– I was a part of Toros team. After coronavirus epidemic, Toros head coach told me to look for another team. At that moment, my parents and I lived in Neftekamsk. My father found job in Nizhnekamsk.

– Are you getting an education?

– Sure. I am a third-year student at the Pedagogical University in Chelny. I want my life to be around hockey in any way.

– What tasks do you have for this season in the JHL?

– It would be nice to score points and help my team.

– Many athletes are very superstitious. Do you have your own superstitious?

– I do not have any superstitious.

– Do you have hockey idols?

– Cale Makar, Adam Fox, Erik Karlsson. I constantly watch highlights of the American leagues and the KHL.

– How do you spend your free time?

– I prefer to read and have a walk. On weekends, I like to play football.
