Neftekhimik forward Sevastyan Sokolov speaks with the media after a following 1–2 loss against Avangard.
– We conceded another goal late in the game, plus we took unnecessary penalties. We need to work on it.– It seemed like both teams had the same advantage. Do you agree with that?
– Yes, of course. It's a game of chance, until a mistake, until a goal. We seemed to have scored first, we should have held on, but we took unnecessary penalties.
– This is your first KHL playoffs. How do you feel after the JHL and VHL?
– Everything is fast, plenty of physical hockey – it is a game of character.
– Today, the coach put you on the faceoff. Is that a common thing on your position?
– In the JHL and VHL, I mostly played center, and I was a center my whole childhood. The opportunity presented itself, but I think it was a questionable faceoff.
