The 2023/2024 season closing ceremony at the Neftekhimik Hockey School

Today at the Neftekhim Arena the graduation and closing ceremony of the 2023/24 season at the Neftekhimik Hockey School took place.
Hockey players of all ages and their coaches were awarded cups and medals that they won this season. Neftekhimik Hockey School won several prizes in the Volga Federal District championship at the end of this hockey season. The debutants of the Volga Federal District championship, the 2013 team (coaches Nurgaliyev I.R., Andreyev A.N.) contributed to this success by winning silver medals in the championship. The team born in 2011 (coaches S.V. Popov, M.G. Pyrkin) got a bronze medal of the Championship for the second season in a row. The 2009 team (coaches Zharenkov A.N., Sarvarov A.M.) got a bronze in the Volga Federal District. Younger guys have won many awards at various tournaments – this is a good steps for future victories.The main event is the presentation of diplomas to players born in 2007.
– Congratulations on the end of the season. We have completed our tryout camp and, as a result, we are signing 2 professional contracts, 3 junior contracts and 12 tryouts for youth team “Reaktor”. Congratulations! – said Neftekhimik Director General Igor Larionov.
The coaching staff of the team, Evgeny Eryomenko and Daniil Slepkov, are especially proud of the guys. This season, Neftekhimik 2007 took a respectable 4th place in the Volga Federal District Championship among U–17 teams.
Some of them may continue their journey in big hockey in the future. But everyone, without exception, is sure that it is just beginning!
“The team has its own spirit, there are a lot of daring guys, there are no strangers or indifferent people, everyone is fighting to make it into the team. I think some guys have a great future,” – said Evgeny Eryomenko.
“We have been together since childhood, there are many friends here. We always do our best together, becoming fourth in the Volga region for two years in a row. We have one goal – to get into big hockey, to do what we love, so that all our efforts are not in vain,” said the captain of the 2007 team, Ilya Vasilyev.
“I am signing my first professional contract, I will play on Reaktor team, I worked hard and am successfully finishing school. It is nice that I was noticed and given a chance to show myself. Many thanks to Evgeny Eryomenko, Anton Kislitsyn, and many thanks to my parents for their help and support,” – said Alexander Kolymayev, Neftekhimik 2007 goaltender.
