Neftekhimik lost to Torpedo 5–4 (SO).
However, the fightback fell short. In the extras, Vladislav Leontyev was penalized and Torpedo grabbed a power play winner through Dmitry Kagarlitsky’s second goal of the season.Torpedo scored first goal of the game. Later, the opponent doubled its advantage and scored third goal. Midway through the first, our team called a time-out. Late in the first, Luka Profaca scored on the power play.
In the third, Torpedo made it 4–1. Neftekhimik did not give up and Luka Profaca scored his second of the game. Three minutes later, Evgeny Mityakin scored a power play goal and Jean–Sebastien Dea tied the game up.
Unfortunately, we were not lucky enough to get two points in overtime.
