Neftekhimik forward Vladimir Bryukvin speaks with the media after a following 1–2 (SO) loss agaisnt CSKA.

– It was a great game. We added some strength in the third period, thanks to which we tied up the score. Probably, the opponent tired a little to some extent. We should not forget that they entered the third period leading in the score. We needed to score a goal, and we scored. In the shootout, the opponent turned out to be stronger.

I do not think that shootouts are a lottery. A lot depends on skill. We need to work on it.

– Just last week, Neftekhimik played against CSKA. How was today's game different from the previous one?
– At the beginning of the last game, the opponent outplayed us. Today it was different. I think we came out fresher, which is why we got off to a good start.
