Vladislav Barulin: «We are focused on our third away game»

– It is quite an important win for us. We showed our character. Games like these are worth a lot when a team comes back. Especially here in Minsk, where every game is played in front of a full stands. Moreover, we were even closer three times. We found the strength, fought back, and at the end, six of our guys came out and fought back. We are focused on our third away game to take 100 percent of the points.I think we are preparing properly now; they gave us some rest between games. We are still fresh. Plus, we understand the importance of the standings. We have lost five games at home, and our competitors are starting to catch up. Every point, as I said at the beginning of the championship, is worth its weight in gold.
What about the overtime goal? Honestly, I was down two games during the game, and I realized that overtime was my last chance to score and help the team. Yes, I managed to be open, play the puck well, and finish it into the empty net.
In general, the opponent started to give up the initiative, started pushing back more, and wanted to hold on to that score. That's usually how it works: when you give up the initiative, the opponent–meaning us–gets more chances. We also had a bit of luck on our side.
