Vyacheslav Butsayev : "We were not ready for this kind of the game"

Vyacheslav Butsayev, the head coach of HC "Neftekhimik":

- What can I say about today's game? As it says, practice makes perfect, but perfect practice makes perfection.

   Therefore, "Ak Bars" was good in every area. They dominated a two-thirds of the game. We were not ready for this kind of the game.

-  "Neftekhimik" had last game of the regular season in the Far East a week ago. Does it effect the team in some way?

I do not know. It does not matter. Anyway, this is not an excuse.

- The first five minutes were great – the team scored a goal and dominated well. What did the team stop? Perhaps, it happened due to young players?

- We made mistakes because of our opponent’s game. We played in a wrong way. As I said before, practice makes perfect, but perfect practice makes perfection.

-  Do you have any claims to goaltenders?

- Yes, probably in some moments they could close the door.  We got 9 GA in 2 game. It is not only goaltender’s fault.

- You said that practice makes perfect, but perfect practice makes perfection. Is it clear that "Ak Bars" will play the same way?

- We will draw a conclusion, for sure. Here, first of all, it is necessary to keep head cool. If we scored first puck of the game it does not mean that we won. We allowed ourselves too much.

- Maxim Groshev played a full game today. He is only 18 years old. Is he ready for the playoffs?

- We have a small choice. He played today, well done. He got an opportununity to score. Unfortunately, he did not score. It is neccessary for him to get experience. He will not be a young players for a long.

Dmitry Kvartalnov, the head coach of HC "Ak Bars":

- It was a tough game. It’s good that we scored and made a handicap in the first period - this predetermined the outcome of the game. "Neftekhimik" is a strong and fast team: it was hard for us to get out of pressure, Bilyalov made big saves. We are going to Nizhnekamsk. We lost last two games there. It will not be easy in Nizhnekamsk.
