We were invited to see the factories of «Nizhnekamskneftekhim».

Our hockey players and coaching staff of "Neftekhimik" visited factories of the general sponsor of our Club - PJSC "Nizhnekamskneftekhim".

 At SK and Plastics factories, players saw the production of synthetic rubber and polystyrenes and others chemical elements.

As expected, the excursion began with a labor protection briefing.

All the players and the coaching staff were dressed in special protective clothing and shoes.

The excursion for the team was led by the chief engineer of PJSC "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" Irek Aglyamov. By the way, he is big fan of HC "Neftekhimik", and does not miss home games of the team. While traveling through the company’s territory, he talked about the history of "Nizhnekamskneftekhim", about the features of its products, and their demand on world markets. For example, hockey players learned that every fifth tire in the world is made of rubber from Nizhnekamsk. This especially impressed our foreigners.

Also our players tried to help with the loading of finished briquettes. The weight of it surprised them:

- "In fact, the people who work here deserve great respect and excitement". - said Stepan Zakharchuk.

"I think that Stepan and I would have managed if we had been put on one shift". – responded him Vitaly Atyushov.

- Vitaly would rest, but I would not! - laughs Stepan.

  

The next point of excursion was a Plastics factory. The players and the coaching staff began to question workers in detail about the production and the manufactured product.

By the way, in one of the workshops, the guys managed to touch the rubber with their own hands and look at the various stages of the production of plastics.

“It was packed by a machine,” one of the hockey players noted.

“You would like to be replaced by machines, especially in the summer, at pre-season camps,” - joked Vyacheslav Butsayev.

After all factories hockey players of "Neftekhimik" and the coaching staff visited the canteen. The usual menu is borsch, salad, manty and special dessert.

The last point of the excursion was a meeting with workers of "Nizhnekamskneftekhim". Vyacheslav Butsayev said the following words:

- "I would like to thank you for this excursion, for the opportunity to see here all the processes by our own eyes. It is a huge complex of factories here. The workers are the nice people. Thank you!"

During the conversation, the factory workers asked a lot of questions that related to the hockey life of the guys. Matt White will probably remember this excursion for a long time. Indeed, at this meeting , the chief engineer of PJSC "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" Irek Aglyamov gave him a T-shirt of MVP of October.

At the end of the meeting, hockey players invited everyone to the next home game with "Spartak" on November 16 at the "Neftekhim" arena and gave them a complimentary tickets. 

- "We are waiting for everyone and we will be glad to see you in the stands. Thanks for the meeting and the excursion. Goodbye!" - summed up Vyacheslav Butsayev.

With a good mood our team went into the bus and thanked all the staff.
