Yegor Popov speaks with the media after following 3–2 win over Salavat Yulaev.

– We scored a quick first goal on the power play. This gave us confidence and we took advantage of it. Further, we played hard and in the right way.

At the end, the opponent managed to take advantage of our penalties and mistakes. We tried to keep the score.

How did I score a goal? Max Berezin set a quick start for our attack. Tony (Camara) made an accurate pass. I just had to go into the zone and shoot.

You know, it's preseason. The coaching staff is trying to find the best line combinations. For two weeks, I had a lot of linemates. Tony, Rafa (Bikmullin) and I practiced together the day before the game. In the first period, we tried to find the way to play together. In the second and third periods, we played better.
