Andrei Belozyorov: «The first period was a tough one»
19.12.2024

Neftekhimik forward Andrei Belozyorov speaks with the media after a following 3–4 overtime loss against Avangard.
– We played our first game after the break. How did it go?
– The first period was a tough one. The opposing started actively. Do not forget that they played one game after the break. But we held out, and Artyom Zagidulin made good saves. Then we got into the swing of things and played the rest of the game well.
– You scored two goals, scored your 100th KHL point. What emotions did you feel after that?
– Of course, it is great to score goals. But it would have been better if the team had won.
– What was missing in today's game?
– Probably we lost our focus. We needed to play smart defensively somewhere, hold the puck. I think that is what we lacked.
