Interview #3 with Neftekhimik forward Anthony Camara

– Anthony, how do you spend your vacation?
– I come home and spend it with my family, and just relax and enjoy some family time.

– What are your impressions about your first KHL season?
– I enjoyed it a lot. It is a great league, great competitors, made a lot of new friends and teammates and coaches and fans and I really enjoyed it.


– Last season you said that you learnt some words in Russian. How is it going with your Russian after the season?
– Not so good. I have nobody to speak Russian here, so when I get back I will have to get better at it.


– What is your most memorable game form the last season?
– Overtime win in playoffs against Kazan.


– Was it difficult for you to fly to the Far East during the season?
– It was not difficult but everyone got sick when we were there. 


– What do you prefer to do during this kind of flights?
– Watch TV shows/movies or sleep


– What surprised you the most in Russia?
– Great people very respectable, very honest and very hard-working. 


– Are there plenty of differences between Russians and Canadians?
– Just the language, two different languages.


– Did you like Nizhnekamsk?
– Yes, I enjoyed my time in Nizhnekamsk with the people that live there.


– What Canadian city could you compare to Nizhnekamsk?
– Hamilton Ontario.


– How is your dog Harvey? We have no doubts that Harvey was super excited to see you after such a long time.
– Harvey was very excited to see me. I made a little video when I first came home. 


– Are you ready to take a leadership role on the ice and lead our young team forward in the upcoming season?
– Yes, I do. A leadership role is a responsibility and I believe our team will be in good hands.


– What would you like to say to our fans?
– Can’t wait to get the season started to see the fans again, will be strong and competitive and fight for every win.
