Neftekhimik lost to Avangard 3–4 (OT).
In this game both teams did not score in the first period despite a few goal–scoring opportunities.Avangard scored first goal fo the night in the beginning of the second. Moreover, midway through the second, Neftekhimik forward Andrei Belozyorov tied the game up. Six minutes later, Neftekhimik German Tochilkin scored Neftekhimik's second goal.
In the third, Tochilkin scored his second with 3:30 left to play. Taking that into account, the home team had an extra player on the ice and scored a tying goal.
In overtime, both teams had great goal–scoring chances to score a game-winning goal. Unfortunately, we were not lucky enough to win.
