Neftekhimik lost to CSKA 4–7.
Neftekhimik forward Riley Barber scored first goal of the game in the eighth minute. The home defense failed to clear its lines and Barber made the most of the turnover. Four minuts later, CSKA scored on the power play. Twenty seconds before the end of the first, CSKA scored a shorthanded goal.

In the second, the opposing team made it 1–3. Jean-Sebastien Dea did his best and made it 2–3 midway through the second. After that, CSKA scored two goals.

In the third, CSKA made it 6–2. Nevertheless, Neftkehimik forwards Evgeny Mityakin and Andrei Belozyorov scored two goals in 40 seconds span. Unfortunately, after that, CSKA scored its seventh goal.
