Neftekhimik forward Evgeny Mityakin speaks with the media after a following 4–5 overtime loss agaisnt Barys.
– Evgeny, how would you rate today’s game? What went right–since a lot was working early on and what went wrong? What caused the team to lose?
– It is a tough loss. You have to play right up to the final minute. We need to cut out defensive mistakes and play a tighter game. As for what went right—we managed to score plenty of goals, but we conceded one too many.
– It seemed like the opponent spent more time in our zone during overtime. What was the reason for that?
– I wouldn't say that. On the contrary, I think we had possession; we just didn't create any scoring chances. We were controlling the puck... and then the opponent scored.
