Evgeny Mityakin: «We need to work on our mistakes»

Neftekhimik forward Evgeny Mityakin speaks with the media after a following 3–4 overtime loss agaisnt Avangard.
– It was a tough game. We got an important point, but unfortunately, we did not win. We need to work on our mistakes and move on.– We conceded three goals in a row at the end of the second period. How did you manage to get yourself together and tied the game up?
– We talked during ssecond intermission, the coaches made adjustments. No one gave up, because we knew perfectly well why we were going out on the ice. We believed that we could improve the situation, and that is how it turned out. We had to win in overtime. But it did not work out.
– It was first game after the break. We were out of game practice for a long time. Did that affect today’s game? When were you able to get into this game?
– Yes, there was a two–week break. I think we needed a couple of shifts to get into the game. At the beginning, the opposing team was more active, but then we managed to cope with our emotions and even tie the game up. Otherwise, this break was good for us – we regained our strength.
