– It is a great team win. Everyone gave it their all, Yarik (Yaroslav Ozolin) kept us in the game, we scored some great goals, held on, and won!
– How did you manage to beat the opponent?
– I think, first and foremost, it was the dedication. Everyone was so fired up about this game, everyone wanted to win. Every game is worth its weight in gold right now. We need points.
– What can you say about your goal?
– We went on the offensive and forced the opponent into a mistake. Nikita Khoruzhev made a good interception, passed it to me, I shot it, and it hit the target.
– This is our fifth game against Ak Bars this season. What did we do well in this game, and what were we missing in the previous ones?
– Yes, we already know our opponents well. I think they have been playing like this for years. We played well in our own crease, especially not letting them score any goals, and I think that's why we won.
– How hard is it to win games like this, when you're leading by just one goal?
– Well, it's emotionally difficult, first of all, and I think we just wanted to win more today!
