Neftekhimik forward Grigory Seleznyov speaks with the media after a following 5–3 win over Metallurg Mg.
– It was a good and hard–battled game. We literally played them three days ago, and everything was fresh in my mind. We worked on mistakes that we made in the last game, adjusted our play, and that helped.
– Comparing today's game to the one in Magnitogorsk, what were the differences?
– We adjusted our tactics a bit, stopped giving them any chances on offense, and played better defensively.
– How did you score your goal?
– Bulat (Shafigullin) won a puck battle, passed the puck to me from behind the net. All I had to do was score.
– How was the atmosphere in the stands?
– It was a great atmosphere today! I wish we had more fans here. Everyone got scarves – it was really cool!
– Was it hard at the end of the game?
– Yes, we were one goal up, and everyone knew they were going to pull the goalie. The main task was not to concede a goal. In the end, we scored another goal and won.
– What do you think about new jersey?
– It is great! I hope they will give it to us as a gift (smiles).
