Reaktor Head Coach Igor Fyodorov speaks with the media after a following 2–3 shootout loss against Ladya.
– Of course, we wanted to extend our winning streak. Unfortunately, our opponent proved stronger in the shootout series. In fact, Ladya also looked stronger in the game, because the same guys are constantly playing. I have no complaints about them. The young players are struggling for now, but I think they will gain confidence soon.Thanks to our dedication and character, we definitely earned a point. We came back from 0–2, although we could have taken the lead in regulation time. I would like to point out that our opponent's goaltender played great.
– Reaktor scored both goals on the power play. It seems like the game changed dramatically after the second goal. Can we consider the power play the key to today's game?
– Indeed, the special teams did a great job. In the first instance, Krivolapov made a great shot, and Sirazetdinov screened a goaltender. In the second, Birdychkin made a big mistake. But I do not think the power play is the key aspect of today's game.
– We have a home game against Omskie Yastreby on Tuesday. How will the preparation go?
– We will return home now, and tomorrow we will give the guys who have been playing a lot some rest. We will get back to work on Monday. The opponent is tough, but we will fight and battle to make our fans, family, and friends happy.
