Neftekhimik Head Coach Igor Grishin speaks with the media before the road trip.
– The team has three away games coming up. Surely the two home wins have added some positive. Will we be able to maintain the fighting spirit we had in the games against Admiral in the upcoming games?– We always have a positive attitude and always try to play to win. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Of course, two wins are nice, two wins in a row, basically, against an opponent that's always difficult for us to play against. So it's nice, it adds to the excitement. I hope these emotions will carry over on the road.
– Games against Ak Bars haven't been going so well for us this season. We have only won once in four games. You probably know how to find the key to opening the gates against this opponent?
– If everyone knew everything, then everything would probably always be fine. Basically, it all depends on the game, even luck, and how the guys attack and defend. This is our fifth game, and we have studied our opponent thoroughly. Basically, we were preparing specifically for them today and for tomorrow's game. Let's hope something works out.
– How is Filipp Dolganov? Should we expect him back soon?
– Filipp is with us; he was on the ice today. He's coming with us on the trip. As he recovers, we'll naturally count on him. It's hard to say exactly when.
