Igor Grishin: «There is nothing special»
27.02.2026

Neftekhimik Head Coach Igor Grishin speaks with the media before the road trip.
– It's clear that this is the toughest trip due to the time zone change. Is there any special preparation plan for the games in Khabarovsk and Vladivostok?– There is nothing special. I think we'll use Moscow time. Of course, it's a little unusual for us: the time of day will just shift a little—it'll be daytime here, dark there, nighttime here, daytime there. But we'll adjust to it; all teams go through this.
– Regarding the roster, it's easier to ask who won't be traveling with the team.
– We have twenty-four field players and three goaltenders, making 27 players total. Dinar Khafizullin is definitely not traveling; he's injured.
Andrei Belozyorov is traveling with the team. We'll decide on his condition once we get there whether he can play or not. Otherwise, there might be some line changes.
– The teams are in the home stretch of the regular KHL Championship. The importance of the results of these four games probably goes without saying.
– I think this road trip will determine whether we'll make the playoffs. So we're going into this trip with high hopes and great focus on achieving this ttsk.
