Reaktor Head Coach Ilnar Misbakhov speaks with the media after a following 2–3 (SO) loss against Avto.
– It was a tough game. Avto is a good team. We did not have a morning skate, and you could tell we were lacking a bit of movement. The home team started strong, but we weathered the pressure. After that, we started creating chances. We scored in the second period and took the lead early in the third. Avto managed to tie it up with a shot from the blue line. Valiyev says he did not see the shot being released, but overall, Anvar played really well today; he bailed us out a lot. All the guys fought hard for the result today. There were plenty of bruises, contusions, and blood. We just fell a little short in the shootout.– Did you praise the guys or scold them after the game?
– I praised them. We played a good game. It is just that in the shootout, the opponent showed more skill and had a bit more luck.
