Ilnar Misbakhovv: «We did not have enough time»

Acting Head Coach Ilnar Misbakhov speaks with the media after a following 5–6 loss against Omskie Yastreby.

– It was a good game; we had many scoring chances. We scored a lot of goals, we just was not lucky enough – the penalties we took at the end let us down and we lost time. Unfortunately, we did not get any points.

– We tied the game up and took the lead. Why the team did not win?

– Wrong play was made by our forward in the second period led to the conceded. After 4–4, it was a close game. We were not lucky, an opponent made a backhand shot from the blue line and scored. We need to play in a right way.

– Kornienko's 4 minutes penalty was a key moment of the game?

– Of course, we did not have enough time, only 30 seconds.

– Gizyatov played great and scored a shorthanded. Is he becoming a team leader?

– Gizyatov is a fast player, scores goals, good for him. He has already become one of the leaders. He played well both on the power play and during pk and 5–5 on hockey. He has enough on–ice time to show his best hockey.
