Ilyas Sirazetdinov: «Everything would be fine»

10.10.2026

Reaktor forward Ilyas Sirazetdinov speaks with the media after a following 2–1 win over Snezhnye Barsy.

–  Ilyas, tell us how you prepared for the game after yesterday’s loss and how the game unfolded.
– We did not do anything out of the ordinary. We woke up this morning – a new day, a clean slate. In hockey, you have to prove every day that you are a professional and that yesterday’s loss was just a fluke. We talked it over with the guys in the locker room, analyzed our mistakes, and everyone came out united and fired up.

– Did the opponent play differently today, or did they stick to the same game plan?
– No, they played the same way they did yesterday. The difference was that yesterday we made a lot of mistakes, and they capitalized on them. Today, we kept mistakes to a minimum, scored our goals, and won.

– So, yesterday’s loss was more about your emotional state than tactics?
– Yes, I think emotions played a bigger role in yesterday’s loss. We relaxed after the second goal and just fell apart.

– Today, when the opponent tied the game again, did you get a bit nervous that things might go the same way as yesterday?
– No, not at all. We all understood perfectly well that we just needed to overwhelm them. Everything would be fine.
