Reaktor defenseman Ivan Birdychkin speaks with the media after a following 2–3 shootout loss against Ladya.
– It was a good and tough game. We did not quite get it right at times. We managed to come back from trailling 0–2 and bringe the game to a shootout. Unfortunately, we couldn't score in the shootout.
– Every game against Ladya this season has been emotional.
– Basically, we have tough games against everyone. But I agree, you could say our games against Ladya were a close one. We didn't play well against them last season, and we had to bounce back this season.
– On the power play, as a defenseman, you move closer to the opponent's crease. How comfortable are you playing there?
– That's an unusual thing for a defenseman, indeed. But I'm comfortable playing anywhere. The main thing is to score goals and contribute to the team.
