– It was a good, back-and-forth game. It’s great that we managed to pull off a win in overtime today. As for my 400th game – honestly, I hadn’t been keeping track of the stats. I was surprised when they announced it. I still remember my first game, and now, here I am at my 400th. It’s a really nice feeling!– Your father, Andrei Vasilyevich Nikolishin, was at the game today. That’s quite a symbolic coincidence…
– It is always great to have family and loved ones there to support you. I am glad my father was able to make it today. Some friends came along too, so it was really wonderful!
– You are heading out for a road trip starting tomorrow. What’s your mindset going into it?
– The mindset is to win. We need victories; we have to keep adding to our points tally.
