– Given that yesterday's game ended late and your team got limited recovery time, do you consider that a contributing factor to today's defeat?– All teams compete under identical conditions, and we do not seek any excuses or mitigating circumstances. The objective is simply to perform at the required level. Did the early goals conceded in the first period influence the outcome? Undoubtedly. However, we were not adequately prepared today. We permitted the opposition's defence to direct shots on our net, we surrendered control of the slot area, and we were outmatched in one‑on‑one battles. These are the decisive factors that shape the final result. We regrouped effectively in the third period and delivered a much stronger performance.
