Matvei Zaseda: «The home team had a good power play»
31.01.2026

Neftekhimik forward matvei Zaseda speaks with the media after a following 1–6 loss against AK Bars.
– The home team had a good power play. They played a lot with the man advantage today. We didn't have that, and, overall, the outcome of the game was decided by the power play.
– Neftekhimik took plenty of penalties. Wy?
– We need to take a closer look and figure things out; maybe we're lacking discipline. We'll figure it out and move on.
– The start of the game wasn't great. Why? Maybe the long break between games had an impact?
– Yes, perhaps the long break had an impact. But we were prepared for this; we had to start playing well from the start and win today.
– What conclusions should we draw from this game?
– I don't want to say anything specific right now, but again, it's most likely a question of discipline. I don't know, but tomorrow we'll get together, figure it out, and move on, no big deal. I'd like to point out that we had a lot of fans today, and that's a great support for us. They're really great, you can hear them, and it's really, really great that they follow us everywhere. We'll be happy to see them always.
