– We were determined to win after the loss to Sputnik. We needed this game. But we did not convert our chances, the opposition capitalized on that, and we conceded while on the power play – they broke away on a 3-on-1. You cannot concede any goals like that; we only have ourselves to blame.– You had plenty of time on the power play, especially in the first period, but only managed to capitalize once. What do you think needs to be fixed in that area?
– We need to improve our scoring; we will work on it in practice. The opposition took a lot of penalties, but we could not convert; we are going to work on that.
– The home series is not over yet; what are the goals for the remaining games?
– The mindset is always to win; we focus on our own game. We have two more games before hitting the road, so we will battle hard against every opponent, no matter who we are facing. It all depends on us.
