Neftekhimik forward Nikita Khoruzhev scored first goal of the evening in the fifth minute, scoring on the power play. After that, Lada tied the game up.

After 41 seconds of the second, Riley Barber regained Neftekhimik's one–goal lead. 

In the third period, Neftekhimi kscored two goals and Lada scored one goal.
