Sibir arrived in Nizhnekamsk in a great mood. The day before, they beat Salavat Yulaev in Ufa and took two valuable points from there. And few manage to leave the capital of Bashkortostan with a positive result. This victory gives Sibir confidence and adds intrigue to the upcoming game.

Historically, both teams have been competing against each other in the race for a spot in the playoffs. The points earned in games against each other have a significant impact on the distribution of places in the standings.  Therefore, the opponents’ attitude will be as combative as possible.

What’s new in the Sibir roster?

During the off‑season, Sibir retained the core of the team. Eleven core players were extended. These are goaltenders Anton Krasotkin and Mikhail Berdin, defenseman Nikita Baklashyov, Daniil Valitov, Fyodor Gordeyev, Mikhail Orlov, and forwards Mikhail Abramov, Anton Kosolapov, Ilya Lyuzenkov, Maxim Sushko, and Alexander Pershakov.  

They were joined by defenders Maxim Osipov and Ivan Mishchenko, and forwards Ivan Vorobyov, Egor Korshkov, Sergey Popov, Stepan Nikulin, Daniil Lazutin, and Pavel Tyutnev. A more than substantial addition.
