Neftekhimik young hockey players have found a new home
13.11.2025

Young players from out of town who came to play for the Neftekhimik Hockey School and the Reaktor team have moved into the Almash training facility, which was modernized with the participation of SIBUR and the Republic of Tatarstan. The sports boarding school is now located in one of the buildings of the newly constructed facility, adjacent to the Neftekhimik players' training center, outside the city, near the Kama River embankment.
The boarding school currently houses 17 people, ranging in age from 13 to 18. The building can accommodate 26 people in total.Neftekhimik Director General Igor Larionov and Neftekhimik Hockey School Director Ildar Nugmanov visited the young hockey players at the new hockey center. Our hockey players showed how they are settling into their new surroundings.

Neftekhimik Director General Igor Larionov:
– It is important for us that you know that you are part of our team. We, from our side, will do everything we can to ensure you have everything you need and can focus on sports and studies.

Reaktor forward Danis Gumerov:
– They have done everything for us at the highest level, which will help us develop and improve our game. The room is bright, the beds are comfortable, there is a desk for studying – everything for a happy life.

Neftekhimik Hockey School forward Timur Kashapov:
– The facilities here are great and recently renovated. We met some guys from Reaktor; we live nearby. There is a soccer field on the grounds, and we play in the evenings during our free time. Sometimes we play video games. We live outside the city, the air is clean, and I like everything.

Out–of–town hockey players have received significantly improved living conditions in one of the buildings at the Almash Sports Center. They are housed in rooms, four to a room. The common area offers a place to gather, chat, and watch TV. There is a separate laundry room with a washer and dryer. The bedrooms will soon have larger, more spacious closets, refrigerators, and a dedicated internet access point.
Neftekhimik Hockey School Director Ildar Nugmanov:
– We are pleased that the players are settling into their new home. I am truly happy for our kids. Everyone is living in wonderful, comfortable conditions. This is all for them. The first team's training facility is nearby, which is another incentive, as they will be able to move there in just a few years if they so choose. To ensure the players get to practice and school on time, a minibus shuttle is provided, tailored to each player's individual schedule. An administrator is with our hockey players 24/7. Their job is to monitor their daily routine, escort them to practices and school, and maintain contact with coaches, teachers, and parents.
Neftekhimik Director General Igor Larionov:
– I would like to express my deepest gratitude to SIBUR, Nizhnekamskneftekhim, and personally to the company's Director General, Mikhail Yuryevich Karisalov, for their comprehensive support of the Club, which allows the main team to consistently perform and youth and children's hockey to develop.
