– How did this tournament help you? After all, the season starts in a few days.– We forgot about this cup. We are pursuing our goal, testing the newcomers, it is time to decide on the roster. Unfortunately, the roster is not yet optimal. It is good that our newcomers, young players, played a lot. We saw them in action against strong opponents. Therefore, the goal for the tournament was achieved.
– An unpleasant moment happened in the first period. Bogdan Kiselevich got injured. How is he?
– He has a concussion. I think he will be unable to play for two or three weeks. I cannot say for sure yet. Hockey is a tough sport. Panin made a clean hit, no complaints about him.
– He has not been on the ice since that moment.
– The doctor said he has a concussion. The recovery time is still unknown.
– In the third period, the team lost a three-goal advantage. Perhaps it is better to lose this advantage now and understand how to prevent it in the future?
– The psychology of a winner is not developed right away. Therefore, you need to play the entire 60 minutes. When you are ahead in the score, you still need to play the game to the end. This probably comes with experience. Ufa is also an ambitious team, they also do not want to lose. Naturally, they wanted to win back. All these factors came together. I repeat, you need to finish the game, bring it to victory. It is unacceptable to lose such an advantage during the third period. We will analyze these mistakes.
– Bryukvin took the cup after the award ceremony. Some hockey players are superstitious, they prefer not to touch the preseason trophy. How do you feel about this?
– Of course, there are a number of superstitions, but not regarding this cup. This is not the first time we have won the cup. Therefore, nothing like that happened.
– How much of the reserve roster is enough to play the first weeks of the season with a more or less optimal roster? Because we know what injuries there were before this tournament, and Kiselevich was injured today.
– Honestly, I am a little shocked. We have so many injured players, and the bench is not that long. I do not know what the roster will be. Naturally, it will not be optimal.
