Neftekhimik Head Coach Oleg Leontyev speaks with the media after a following 0–1 loss against Admiral.
– There are rarely many goals scored in such games. Everyone understands the importance of the game. Its outcome was decided by one effective shot. We had a chance to score. But the score is on the scoreboard. And so, today 23 we blocked shots, the guys squeezed everything out of themselves, tried, but they failed to beat the opponent's goaltender. We are regaining strength and preparing for the next game.– In the second period, the team was transformed, began to make more shots. What did you change during the break?
– Such is the specificity, and we are not the first and not the last, that it is harder to play here than in other regions of Russia. The first period was difficult for us in Khabarovsk too. But then everything got better. There was a rhythm of the game, movement. Everything seemed to be fine. This is the only thing I can complain about. Usually, the beginning of the match should be in your favor. You must control the course of the game from the first minute.
