Neftekhimik Head Coach Igor Grishin speaks with the media after a following 2–3 loss against Amur.
– Today we gave our opponent a lot of power play opportunities, and our discipline let us down, especially in the first period. Throughout the rest of the game, there were penalties that could have been avoided and shouldn't have been taken. It was due to carelessness, lack of restraint – basically, we gave our opponents room and time. That's why it was a bit tough here. Aftter that, we made mistakes on defense. The goaltenders played well because there were plenty of opportunities at both ends. The home team scored one more goal that we did.
– One of your players suffered a serious injury towards the end of the game. Is he okay?
– He has an upper body injury. We'll see what happens now, of course – we'll go to the medical facility, but I'm afraid he might not be able to play the day after tomorrow.
