Oleg Leontyev, the head coach of HC Neftekhimik:

- The first period was a hard one. We were penalized 3 times, our opponent outshot us. Fortunately, we scored and changed the game a little bit.

In the second and third periods, we completely outplayed the opponent. In the third period, we outshot them 11-2. We had two 100% goal-scoring chances in overtime. The guys fought to the very end.

Craig Woodcroft, the head coach of HC Dinamo Minsk:

- I like the start of the game today. We played the way we wanted play. They scored a goal later, I thought little bit of a lucky bounce for them. I think it was a key point of the game because it gave them a lot of live and kind of let them to have a very strong second period and kind of put us back on our wheels a little bit, we talked about it in the second intermission, we wanted to come out and regain control of the game and played the way we could. 

Our goaltending kept us in the game and gave us an opportunity to earn a point, made a great save in overtime and we were able to capitalize on our chance that we created. We are happy for the win, it is a good character builder for our team, and we look forward to next game.
