Neftekhimik Head Coach Oleg Leontyev speaks with the media after a following 1–3 loss against Kunlun RS.

– It is hard to comment on the first two periods. We did not have time, we were losing puck battles. We did not get into the opponent’s crease, we did not create tension. So we deservedly lost the first two periods. In the third, although we came to our senses, we started playing our game, creating goal–scoring chances. But the puck was not going into the goal, the opponent’s goalie was doing a great job. Of course, we can complain about not having much strength left. Every game is a tough battle for us. But nevertheless, at home we need to take points and hold on to the place on the standings we have.

Kunlun RS head coach Mikhail Kravets:

– We are very happy that we were able to win. Neftekhimik always plays well at home. They are a fast, organized team, and it is hard to play against them. We had our third away game. The guys did their best, we started showing a good game from the first period. There were a lot of goal–scoring chances. We decided that anyone can score and skate to the offensive zone. Naturally, the opponent punished us for this. And then we played according to our plan. We played well during pk, the goaltender kep us in the game, we scored on the play. Overall, we finished the game with dignity.
