Neftekhimik Head Coach Oleg Leontyev:
– Both teams created many scoring opportunities in the first and second periods. We lost our focus a couple of times and conceded goals.
We were trailling two goals before the third period. We knew how to play and get out of this situation. In the third period, we switched to three lines, and played this period at a good pace. We outshot our opponents and earned one point.
During shootout series, we were not lucky. The guys did a great job, despite losing in the shootout. Nevertheless, I think the result was positive, I liked the way we played.
