Neftekhimik Head Coach Oleg Leontyev speaks with the media after a following 4–2 win over Lada.
– We understood how important today's game was. The opponent understood it too. That's why the fight was intense, there were a lot of emotions. The guys did well, they stood their ground and withstood the opponent's pressure. We also scored good goals, which were enough for the victory. Today was a united team, we deserved the victory. Once again - congratulations to everyone on the victory! Many thanks to the fans who came to support us. But this is one game, we will not dwell on it. We are moving on and preparing for the next matches.
Lada Acting Head Coach Pavel Zubov:
– Congratulations to our opponent on the victory! Unfortunately, we are in a situation where it is impossible to rotate the lineup. I said this in the locker room. I can't help but mention Gosudarev. The guy came out, tried hard, chewed the ice and earned a penalty, which we realized. But one third of the players don't even understand what club they play for. No one is allowed to do that. We will find options to replace these hockey players.
