Neftekhimik Head Coach Oleg Leontyev speaks with the media after a following 4–3 win over SKA.
– Today's game probably lived up to the pre–game slogan. It was a fiery game. The opponent is very famous, but it is even more pleasant to win. The whole team was at its best, they worked as a single mechanism today. Everyone showed their best qualities, such as courage and character. We scored great goals, with the help of which we won. The fans were great, the arena was full. It is always nice to play with such support. In general, life goes on, no matter what. We move on.
SKA Head Coach Roman Rotenberg:
– First of all, I would like to thank the fans who came to the game. The stands were full, it was a fiery game. We knew that the opponent, as always, would fight to the very end. There were many puck battles and struggles. We understood that we had to win every puck battle and struggle. We had to outplay the opponent and fulfill the game task. To be honest, only Korotky's line, Kuzmin and Dedunov fulfilled our task. In principle, they participated in all our goals we scored. I think that this was their best game. In addition, I would like to congratulate Korotky on his first KHL goal. He is improving his game, working, toiling. I would like to thank Neftekhimik for such a game.
